The Flame Within( A poem on religious intolerance)

THE FLAME WITHIN
(Inspired by the Riots in Sweden)
Their minds are blinded by the bars of rage,
Intolerance, indignance, and ire their cage,
Wherefore come these torchbearers of death?
On peace they playfully lay the wreath!

Countless lives lost;
The warmth turned to frost;
Their hunger not sated,
The fire not bated!

Hands drowned in blood of their own kith and kin,
Hearts gooey mass for the flame within;
As Kinney put―proof of human sin,
Die! Die! O, Flame within!

2020: Everything You Need

Really? Is 2020 ending? Is what I'm hearing true?  Yes, folks; this agonizing year is finally coming to a closure.  Does this mean one starts partying? Does this mean one becomes complacent and lounges about on the sofa? No; nada; never.  The year might be finally bidding us goodbye, but the tribulations and the grief it has bestowed upon humanity are far from having eradicated.  Look around yourself. What do you see?  People covered in masks, gloves and face-shields.
